The Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA) is a 572 seat performing arts theater, located adjacent to downtown Tecumseh. The TCA continues the tradition of live entertainment in our community. Throughout our history, Tecumseh has been proud to host an opera house, The Strand Theater and currently the TCA. Live performances have been bringing pleasure to Lenawee County residents for over a century.
The Tecumseh Center for the Arts features National Touring performances which have graced the stage for over 30 years, bringing national talent right to our back door. Our homegrown talent series features local talent of all ages, dance troops, musical performances, and plays performed by the Tecumseh Youth Theatre and the Tecumseh Players theater groups, treating the community to performances throughout the year. The Summer Black Box Series features three performances during the summer at the TCA – it is a great way to spend a summer evening... and it's right here in Tecumseh... just around the corner. The Tecumseh Kiwanis Club sponsors its annual Travel and Adventure Series presentations from October to April.
Some performances are designed to engage your mind while others are created to make you laugh. Perhaps a musical venue will have your soul singing with joy, or your toes tapping in rhythm. Our theater director, Shelley Lim, is committed to the arts, and wants to share all they have to offer with you and your family. Enrich yourself through the musical and visual performances at the Tecumseh Center for the Arts.
