2013 Tecumseh Classic Car & Bike Show Series
Get your motor running and head on down the highway to the 2013 Tecumseh Classic Car & Bike Show Series. Yes, that's right, this year on the third Thursday of May, June, July, August and September United Bank and Trust, ididit, Avery Oil, Embers Bar & Grill, Muk's Sports Pub and Basil Boys Restaurant will be sponsoring Tecumseh's Classic Car & Bike Show.
Classic Car & Bike Show events will be held May 16, June 20, July 18, August 15* (Special Road Rally event added in August see below*) and September 19. They will be displayed in the United Bank & Trust Hickman Financial Center parking lot located at 205 E. Chicago Blvd. and the adjacent downtown parking lot from 6:00 to 8:00 pm for all to enjoy. Special recognition awards will be given each month.
Come show off YOUR classic car or motorcycle! Registration is free, however, we would like each participant to bring canned goods or non-perishable food item that will be given to area service clubs to distribute to local families in need. Plaques will be given to the first 100 cars & bikes that are registered. Check-in will be held at Gregory's Barber Shop, 201 E. Chicago Blvd. between 5:30 and 7 pm. Grab a bite to eat at one of our many great restaurants, then stop by for an evening of free entertainment at Tecumseh's Classic Car & Bike Show Series or enjoy music at our free summer concert series "Music In The Park" at Adam's Park from June to September. It's sure to be a great time for the whole family!
*August has a special event added to the Classic Car and Bike Show. It's a ROAD RALLY! The Classic Car & Bike Show Road Rally will begin at the AJ Smith Recreation Center at 810 North Evans Street at 5:00 pm. Registration will be $10 per vehicle. The pit crew will hand out your clues for this fun Road Rally adventure in and around Tecumseh. It will finish at the Classic Car & Bike Show downtown at 7:00 pm with special reserved parking for road rally participants. No need to rush you'll be there in plenty of time for the car show judging. GET YOUR MOTORS RUNNING and get ready for the Tecumseh Classic Car & Bike Show Road Rally... it's going to be a great time!
