Get your motor running and head on down the highway to the 2018 Tecumseh Classic Car & Bike Show Series. Yes, that's right, this year on the third Thursday of May, June, July, August and September Old National Bank, ididit, Avery Oil and Basil Boys Restaurant will be sponsoring Tecumseh's Classic Car & Bike Show.

Classic Car & Bike Show events will be held May 17, June 21, July 19, August 16 and September 20. Cars & bikes will be displayed in the Old National Bank parking lot located at 205 E. Chicago Blvd. and the adjacent downtown parking lot from 6:00 to 8:00 pm for all to enjoy. Special recognition awards will be given each month.

A free concert series

Tecumseh comes alive the third Thursday of the month from June through September with a free concert series. From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Adams Park becomes an outdoor concert hall. Each season, the Parks and Recreation department lines up distinctive sounding bands, with your listening pleasure in mind.The 2018 concert series will include great music performances featuring blue grass, jazz, classic rock and blues. 

June 21 - The Copper Stills Band - Country/Rock
July 19 - Matt Gabriel Trio - Folk and Blues PLUS! Kids Night - Kids Activities
August 16 - Lincoln County Process - Roots Rock
September 20 - Chris Shutters Band - Classic Rock

Adams Park, located next to City Hall, is a great place to spend a summer evening. Light refreshments are usually available for purchase, or you can start a third Thursday tradition and pack a picnic. Everything tastes better with live music! Relax with your friends and neighbors as you enjoy wonderful entertainment at this lovely park setting. Music in the Park is another reason why Tecumseh is a great place to live, work and play.
