10th Annual Pet Parade

Saturday morning at 10:00 am bring your pet and join the fun for the 10th annual Pet Parade!

The theme for 2013 is Wild West Round Up! Use your imagination dress your cat, dog, hamster, bunny, horse and yourself in your best "wild west attire" and join us for this feel good event that showcases the charm of our downtown, not to mention Tecumseh's community spirit.

Pets and owners may gather at the First Presbyterian Church yard at the corner of North Pearl and Chicago Blvd. beginning at 9:15 am to get their registration number for judging. The parade will begin at 10:00 am. Pets and owners alike delight in parading down Chicago Boulevard, ending at Adams Park, located adjacent to City Hall. Once at the park, judges will deliberate and award prizes to three winners. Winners receive special awards, however, no child leaves empty handed! 

Bad Hair Day? Salon & Spa will be having a Pet Bake Sale stop by on Friday & Saturday and purchase a yummy pet treat. Enter to win a great prize basket for your favorite furry friend!

Companion Animal Clinic will be offering a Dog Wash and be doing nail trimming for donation immediately following the Pet Parade until 2:00 pm.  All proceeds going to Sharing To Assist Furry Friends.  There will also be drawings and prizes.
