Throughout the City of Tecumseh

"Through the Doors of Tecumseh... Enter Our Past" is the theme for the 38th Annual Promenade Tecumseh Home Tour. Visitors will enjoy touring local homes during this two-day event from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Live entertainment will be featured at many of the locations throughout the weekend. 

Don't forget to visit the Tecumseh Historical Museum to enjoy the many treasures on display. 

Enjoy various weekend activities including "The Wheelman" on antique bicycles, flowers sales, lost arts demonstrations, and the Tecumseh Historical Museum.

From Tecumseh's city sidewalks to the beautiful scenic Indian Crossing Trails, this is sure to be a FUN RUN! Flat terrain small and large hills, this race is not your ordinary 5K. The circular route starts and finishes at the AJ Smith Recreation Center, located at John W. Smith Park in Tecumseh.

Race fee $25 (includes entry to race and shirt.)

Join in on the fun and savings during Tecumseh's Annual Sidewalk Sales. This year, merchants will offer great deals during their annual sidewalk sales on July 17 & 18 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. With some stores offering extended hours on Friday morning and evening.

This year lots of fun activities are being planned to compliment this great annual Sidewalk Sales event. Beside great sales and food, live music will be featured Friday night at 7:00 pm and Saturday starting at noon. Tecumseh Parks & Recreation Department will have a bean bag toss game for kids. A corn hole bean bag toss games will be sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Tecumseh. Face painting & balloon animals creations by Facepainting Robot will start at 10:00 am (for a fee) on Saturday. Kids, 10 and under, be sure to stop Saturday on South Evans Street and make and decorate a FREE pinewood derby car and test drive it on the track, this event is sponsored by Tecumseh Plywood and hosted by the Charlie Rebottaro family on Saturday starting at 1:00 pm. The Giant Sand Box will be ready for kids to enjoy next to Grey Fox Floral on South Evans Street. Kids can play and have fun in the sand and Saturday at 12:30 to 2:30 they can look for "treasures" and win prizes. The Tecumseh Farmers Market will be downtown on Saturday with fresh local produce and handmade items for you to purchase from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

John W Smith Park will host the 3rd annual Art in the Park, June 6 & 7, located at 804 North Evans Street in Tecumseh. This promises to be a great experience. Perfect setting, booth sitters, indoor artist lounge and more await artists at Art in the Park. Visitors to Art in the Park will experience a broad array of quality, original art in each booth.
