The Great Tecumseh Camp Out and Fireworks

June 26 & 27, 2010

It’s never too early to make plans to enjoy a summer evening, so mark your calendar and start packing up your gear, because the 1st Annual Great Tecumseh Camp Out is planned for Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Cal Zorn Park.  You’ll want to bring your entire family as we turn Cal Zorn Park into “Camp Tecumseh!”  Beginning in the afternoon on Saturday, campers will be invited to 
begin setting up their campsites.  Each 20’ x 20’ campsite will comfortably accommodate one tent.  Rather bring your camper? No worries, we have set aside limited space for camping trailers.

Camp Counselors will be on hand, overseeing activities throughout the day, a Camp Store will be set up, offering provisions and the Splash Pad will be in full swing!  As dusk falls over the park, you will have the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy the City of Tecumseh’s annual fireworks display!  After the fireworks, we will light the Great Tecumseh Campfire.  Everyone is invited to join us for camp songs, marshmallow roasting and some good old fashioned camp stories.
