Stop by the Historical Museum on Saturday mornings from May through October for some of the finest veggies in Lenawee County. The Farmers’ Market offers a wide variety of seasonal produce. Meet the people who grow some of the foods that grace your table during the season. Organic vegetables, herbs, flowers, fresh eggs and honey are available. You may even find soaps, pottery and homemade pies (rhubarb comes highly recommended.) The market is open on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. New growers and suppliers are always welcome. Take home flowers or heirloom vegetable plants ready to be transplanted into your garden patch. Visit the local growers from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday evenings, in the southeast downtown city parking lot.
